The Brother MFC-J835dw, a close relative to the Editors' Choice Brother MFC-J825dw, is a compact all-in-one that can print, copy, scan and fax. You can share the multifunction printer (MFP) with multiple computers on a network using the wireless (802.11b/g/n) or wired Ethernet connection. The 3.3-inch touch-screen color LCD is designed for interactive menu navigation. You can access your Facebook, Picasa Web Albums, Flickr, and Google Docs accounts via the Web Connect Touch Screen Interface. The MFC-J835dw lets you print directly on printable blank DVDs, CDs and Blu-ray discs for personalization.
The MFC-J835dw provides for automatic duplexing (printing on both sides of a sheet of paper). You can fax, copy and scan up to 20-page documents unattended using the automatic document feeder. It has print speeds of 35 ppm black and 27 ppm color in fast mode or 12 ppm black and 10 ppm color by the ISO standard. A standard paper tray has a 100-hseet capacity, while a photo bypass tray holds up to 20 sheets of 4-by-6 photo paper. A four-cartridge ink system lets you only change the cartridge that needs to be replaced.
The Brother MFC-J835dw sells at an estimated street price of $150 and comes with a 2-year limited warranty.
